No matter where I am I have friends who are half a world away. I want to stay connected and keep my supporters informed. Some times I will be very busy and only update once in a while. Other times I might bore you with how much I have to say :) Just check back once in a while when you are thinking of me and see what I'm up to!

Contact Information

How can supporters and friends keep in contact with you?
I think this is my favorite question!  If I don’t already have your address please send it to me!  I send out quarterly newsletters and those can be mailed to you.  If you would like, I can have it sent as an e-mail, but it is often a good reminder that you have someone in the field if you get a paper copy.
(Update: Setting up the email version isn't so easy to accomplish anymore so it is on hold.)
I also have this blog set up and I am posting about our journey.  Internet connection is not always the best in Juagdan, but I will be trying to update the blog at least once a month.  I am also working on setting up resources here such as how fundraising is going, prayer requests, physical donation needs, and eventually highlights about local ministry partners and students.
I also have a Facebook account and will be able to have access to that on my phone likely even without internet capability.  I also have an e-mail address that I can share if you are interested.  If you prefer to send things to me I will have a physical address, but that can get expensive.  Check below for more details.

How can care packages be sent to you or the ministry?
The easiest way will be to send it to my designated locations in Grand Rapids or Denver.  They will collect items and occasionally do specific drives for the ministry such as school supplies or over the counter medications and hygiene supplies.  There are shipping companies they will be connected to that have a large box with no weight limit that can be sent for about $100 and are delivered directly to our door.
Letters and cards can be mailed, but I do not know what the necessary postage is yet.  Be sure to not send money or important documents this way as there is a possibility they will not make it to me.
If it is an urgent need or something small you can send packages via regular USPS.  The issue here is that once they arrive in Ubay I would have to pay an import fee.  If we are not careful the fee could be more than the product’s value.
